Cukestory
Every once in a while we'll get some diehard Cukesters asking how we formed, if John is as sexy in real life as he is on stage, and if we like cheese and sausauge pizza. Not that we don't like talking about it in person but we thought if we put our history up on the net maybe we could cover other topics during our meet-n-greets; like maybe global warming or how to perform the perfect cheer.

Disclaimer: A lot of this info. is being captured here on the site years after it occured. So, if we are off by a month or two or maybe over embleshed an entry here or there, please forgive us.

Summer 2003:
Boomchild Crash and Burns:
Mick and John have just finished up a fairly successful run with a local coverband Boomchild. Boomchild's bassist and drummer have moved on to experience new musical directions and Mick and John decide they want to keep on pluging away at the Milwaukee music scene. Guitars and vocals are covered. But where will they find a drummer and bassist?
Bassist:
First things first, where do we get a bassist? Mick immediately thinks of his longtime bassist buddy Rob. Rob had left an extremely successful Milwaukee band, Oil Can Harry a few years earlier due to scheduling demands of the band (Rob was starting a family). Mick begs Rob for weeks and finally gets him to agree to family friendly rehersal terms. Sweet, bassist AND 2nd vocalist covered.
