• Bowling: my parents owned a bowling alley when I was a kid so I had a distinct advantage. I was even seen bowling on TV once back in the 80s ("Make That Spare"). I was averaging 170 in 5th grade. Peaked at about 195 bowling part-time in college. Haven't bowled in a league since then.
• Video games: remember the game Robotron? I am confident I could crush anyone who challenges me. Anyone. Seriously. I mean it. Crush. You wanna go?
• Sports...I played football, basketball, and baseball in high school, proving band geeks can also be jocks...was captain of each team my senior year. Basketball was my favorite...this was once a passion for me and I was actually very good...WAS being the key word. Now, I am a pitiful player.
• Drumming at University of Wisconsin-Madison...I played snare drum in the marching band during football season and played drum set at men's and women's basketball games. I still go to games as a spectator and have noticed they are still playing some cheers and drum fills that I created while I was there (very flattering). For instance, at football games, during the 3rd qtr when the drummers and poms go around the stadium playing/dancing, watch the first snare drummer. When he makes a motion like he is shooting a gun, then the fill I created is about to be played (my nickname was "Big Shooter" in college).
